Preceding analyzing Frederick Douglass and Sor Juana de la Cruz, brief synopses of the scholarly works Answer to Sor Filotea de la Cruz and Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass will be given. Sor Juana de la Cruz and Frederick Douglass have a few striking likenesses and contrasts. The examinations that will be talked about depend on the accompanying human conditions; dread, personality, and timespan. Sor Juana de la Cruz is naturally introduced to a well off family in 1648 that lived close to Mexico City, Mexico.
